I chose to work at MMA for the 2013 summer camp because I enjoyed the experience that my cadet instructors gave me, so I wanted to pass on the same experience to others. Another reason I chose to work summer camp is because I wanted to give back to my school and help my school out. I enjoyed making an impact on the campers’ lives. I enjoyed working with the campers from watching them struggle at first, to teaching and guiding them, and finally to see them finish strong at the end. I learned that my CI’s did not have it easy and that it is a lot of work. I also learned a different style of leadership from the more experienced CI’s. I enjoyed being a CI so much that I will be one again for Alpha Company for the 2014 summer camp.
