LEADERSHIP SUMMER CAMP
Thousands of young men go off to camps each summer, but very few attend a Leadership Camp like Marine Military Academy (MMA). MMA Summer Camp is a total immersion in Marine style leadership and training. There are no easy-going days filled with arts and crafts, or laying around watching television. Campers are on the go every minute of every day completing the type of training that Marines regularly go through. Watch the "Join the Action!" video.
Supervision and leadership are provided in every aspect of the camp by dedicated Marine Officers and Staff Non-commissioned Officers. Campers learn the valuable lessons of teamwork, problem solving, respect for others and development of self-esteem.
Leadership Camp Activities
Summer camp training includes a wide variety of activities that mirror training received by today's young Marines. These include a healthy dose of physical fitness that begins before the sun comes up each morning.
The Military Department utilizes the new Leadership Enhancement and Development (LEAD) Complex to build individual confidence while promoting physical endurance and mental sharpness. In the LEAD complex, campers complete intense, hands-on leadership learning activities that emphasize fast decision making, strengthen team-based, problem-solving capabilities, and enhance a camper’s individual leadership skills.
We believe that every young man has the capability to be a good leader if provided the right training. Leaders are not born, they are developed and at Marine Military Academy Summer Camp we provide the tools to develop the leaders of tomorrow.
