Marine Military Academy Provides a Great Adventure
Our summer adventure camp programs are specifically designed for young men ages 11 to 17. MMA, located in Harlingen, Texas, is the only school of its kind in the world—you will not find another private school that is modeled after the traditions and values of the U. S. Marine Corps. Our summer camps mix structure with adventure, to enrich each camper physically and mentally.
Summer Adventure Camp Activities
MMA’s summer camp is designed to teach each camper to make the most of every hour of his day. Our motto is Carpe Diem—Seize the Day! Camp at MMA is exciting and fun, but there is still ample room for learning. Our specially designed summer programs incorporate adventurous activities for campers, which also teach important life lessons such as teamwork, responsibility, respect and self-esteem.
Our campers enjoy a wide variety of planned, structured activities each day. Some of the most popular activities include: obstacle courses, rappelling, paint balling and the rifle range. These are not your average activities that a teenager can enjoy at home! Campers are encouraged to push themselves in order to exceed their own expectations. They feel a real sense of achievement and excitement when they realize that they have completed tasks that are traditionally reserved for Marine training purposes.
