Are you seeking an adventure camp for summer to attend this year, or are you a parent looking for the perfect camp to send your son? The summer camp at Marine Military Academy (MMA) provides numerous action-packed activities for those interesting in pursing excitement and adventure. Watch the "Join the Action!" video.
Our summer adventure camp programs are specifically designed for young men ages 12 to 17. MMA, located in Harlingen, Texas, is the only school of its kind in the world—you will not find another private school that is modeled after the traditions and values of the U. S. Marine Corps. Our summer camps mix structure with adventure, to enrich each camper physically and mentally.
MMA’s summer camp is designed to teach each camper to make the most of every hour of his day. Our motto is Carpe Diem—Seize the Day! Camp at MMA is exciting and fun, but there is still ample room for learning. Our specially designed summer programs incorporate adventurous activities for campers, which also teach important life lessons such as teamwork, responsibility, respect and self-esteem.
Our campers enjoy a wide variety of planned, structured activities each day. Some of the most popular activities include: obstacle courses, rappelling, paint balling and the rifle range. These are not your average activities that a teenager can enjoy at home! Campers are encouraged to push themselves in order to exceed their own expectations. They feel a real sense of achievement and excitement when they realize that they have completed tasks that are traditionally reserved for Marine training purposes.
The design of our adventure camp for summer is perfect for young men who want to experience adventure while also learning valuable lessons that will last a lifetime. After a camp session, campers tend to stand a little straighter, and a little taller, with a sense of pride for all that they have accomplished. Parents will notice great positive changes when they return home. Our camp is the perfect fit for any young man who wants to push the limits while also pushing himself to succeed.
