Summer campers who wish to learn the basics of aviation can take the Flight Training elective for an additional fee.
An experienced flight instructor will teach campers about basic aviation through classroom and field instruction.
Campers will shadow the instructor on flights and even take the controls to become familiar with the aviation process.
In addition to Ground School, the campers receive four hours of actual flight time.
The Flight Training elective also qualifies participants for the Boy Scout aviation merit badge.
Come along on a summer camper's introductory flight.
Becoming a pilot is a unique achievement. Less than 1% of people in the United States earn the license. Take the first steps toward being part of that exclusive club.
