BEYOND PERSONAL BESTS

Over 300 Summer and ESL Campers and  38 Cadet Instructors completed four weeks of USMC-styled challenge and competition throughout MMA’s 2009 Summer program which began July 11 th and wrapped up August 8th. 

The Graduation Parade got underway on Saturday, August 8th, 0900, at MMA Parade Grounds with Brigadier S. Cheney, USMC (Ret), President – Marine Military Academy as Reviewing Officer.

Following the Parade, separate Company Graduation Ceremonies were conducted highlighted by explosive congratulations from extremely proud Moms, Dads, Grandmas, Grandpas, Aunts, Uncles, and friends…and, of course, not without “word to the wise” from Drill Instructors:  “Moms, Dads, these young men know HOW to make a bed so that a quarter skips across the cover – DO NOT LET THESE ACCOMPLISHED YOUNG MEN FOOL YOU!”
