LET’S GO FLY A KITE…

ESL students were relieved to find the Gulf breezes picked up just enough to launch their self-made kites mid-morning on Friday, July 24th following early-morning progress tests and an energizing round of glazed doughnuts and juice.
The students’ collection of colorful self expressions were fastened to the ‘spine’ of the kites with kite string and a handy bright blue hand grip, then launched into the bright blue yonder.
Later this afternoon the entire ESL group will be treated to a bowling party complete with hot dogs, chips, chocolate and vanilla birthday cakes, video games, and lots of fun…a great opportunity to test out their English language skills in the community!
